Maria de Chaby

Maria de Chaby is a visual artist and product designer who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Product Design with a passion for artistic expression and innovation. Born in Almada and raised in Sintra, she embarked on her artistic journey since she ever remember. With a foundation in design and a keen eye for creativity, Maria launched the Vulva project in 2023, aiming to create a space for celebrating femininity, gender equality, and diversity. Through her art and design, Chaby challenges stereotypes, promotes female empowerment, and initiates important conversations about sexuality, the female body, and representation. Each piece she creates reflects her commitment to authenticity, freedom, and personal expression. As an artist, Maria de Chaby strives to make a positive impact on society, inspiring others to find their voices and advocate for a more just and inclusive world.
